Lucifer — Original Graphite Drawing

LUCIFER

Lucifer is an exploration of an archetype I have long felt deeply connected to—not as a figure of simple darkness, but as a symbol of intellect, sovereignty, rebellion, discernment, and the refusal to surrender one's own mind.

In this work, I wanted to portray Lucifer through contrasts: the human and the infernal, elegance and darkness, intellect and instinct. The tailored jacket represents intelligence, refinement, and the constructed mind, while the goat head introduces the primal and symbolic dimension of the archetype.

My connection to Lucifer is personal. I have always been drawn to the aspects of this archetype that question imposed beliefs, challenge conformity, and demand self-knowledge. For me, Lucifer represents the part of the self that dares to look directly into what others would rather avoid.

Created entirely by hand in graphite, this original drawing is part of my ongoing exploration of infernal archetypes, dark symbolism, and the psychology of the human shadow.
