Shattered

Shattered

Graphite, crimson pencil and pastel on paper — A3

Shattered captures the psychological moment when an old identity begins to collapse, making space for something new.

A fragmented face emerges through layers of darkness, confronting the viewer with the tension between who we have been and who we are becoming. The fractured forms represent the breaking of outdated beliefs, patterns and identities—the necessary destruction that can precede profound transformation.

This is not a portrait of defeat. It is a portrait of metamorphosis.

When the old mind shatters, something deeper rises from the fragments: more conscious, more instinctive, and no longer willing to remain contained.

“When your old mind shatters, a new one emerges from the depth of your inner Darkness. And this one does not play. It comes to hunt and rule.”
